Cat Beds - The Saga

I love pets in general, but I'm more of a cat person myself - and that's why I made threw cat beds applying small improvements to each attempt. All beds were made in T-shirt yarn.

The first one I made freehand, starting with a magic ring and making rounds of single crochet stitches. They should be center single crochet stitches to provide a more robust bed side, and that's why it doesn't stand up. My cat still loves it, though!

The second attempt I made with center single crochet stitches and a triangular shape to form the ears. I also made some color changes to match my parents' cat colors. This bed was also approved by its owner, and it's definitely an improvement from my first attempt:

Finally, ending the cat bed trilogy, I made another bed, and for this one I followed this free pattern from "Let's Crochet" blog - adding the same triangular shape for the ears:

I hope these options can be an inspiration to create other cat beds! I can definitely share more details about how I made the cat ears or the cat bed pattern in the future :)
